Peniche – Portugal: “Festivals of the Sea”

November is home to the “Festivals of the Sea” in Peniche. This popular event celebrates the region’s rich maritime heritage and attracts thousands of visitors both locals and tourists. The 2024 program includes:

• Food tasting and showcooking;
• Exhibition “Plasticus Maritimus – Uma espécie invasora”, from Ana Pêgo;
• Workshops and conferences on Blue Economy, Blue Tourism and Sealife Protection;
• Final round of Sub-16 National Surf Championship;
• Final round of the Open and Women Bodyboard National Circuit;
• Concerts and other musical events;
• Kids workshops.
