The Troia Peninsula is undoubtedly one of Portugal’s best kept secrets. A beautiful coastline with pristine sands, crystal clear waters and emerald pine forests at less than 50 km south of Lisbon! In Troia you can explore magical places in a Nature Reserve inhabited by unique species. Troia is a place of tranquility that combines charm with the preservation of the environment.
The Property
Our property is located in Troia Resort, the leading luxury resort in the Troia Peninsula. It has a privileged location, surrounded by nature and with direct access to the beach. It includes one of Europe’s finest golf courses, pools, and several recreational and support facilities.

- The property is a 3-bedroom Townhouse consisting of two floors and comprising:
- Ground floor: living/dining room, 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, kitchen, deck
- Upper floor: 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, balcony.
- Bicycle garage in basement
How to get there
If you are coming from Lisbon, the easiest and fastest route (1 hour) is to drive to the city of Setubal and then take:
If you prefer to drive all the way through, you can detour the Peninsula via Alcácer do Sal (A2, IC1 and N253 roads) and get to Troia. This is a 140 km journey.
If you are coming from the South (Faro), take the A2 highway, exit direction Grândola and proceed north to Troia (IC33, N261 and N253 roads). This is a 220 km direct drive.
What to do in Troia
There is so much to do, the only difficulty is choosing. Here are a few suggestions though:
- Stroll on the many beaches extending as far as the eye can see
- Hop on a bike and ride the cycle path that crosses the Troia Peninsula
- Take a boat trip to see the dolphins in the Sado estuary
- Enjoy sailing, windsurfing and a variety of other water sports
- Go bird watching in the Arrábida Mountain
- Challenge yourself in Troia Golf, considered one of Europe’s best golf courses
- Go back to the 1st century AC and visit the Troia Roman Ruins
- Eat the best “choco frito” (fried cuttlefish), Setubal’s gastronomy specialty
- Check the shops and boutiques in the bohemian-chic Comporta village
- Try your luck at the Troia Casino
